Happy Woman's Day to all of you. And guys - seeing as you get the day off too - enjoy! Don't forget to pamper your women. They will love you for it!! Luv Diana REVIEW ON ANTANEEA MASSAGE As I entered Tracey’s healing room, I felt a sense of tranquility and immediately felt my tired and stressed body slump as it gave itself permission to relax and unwind knowing that there was a treat in store! "Fine one to talk," I thought to myself remembering how often I advocate that the most important thing we can do is to nurture ourselves and to do what makes us feel whole and complete. Well I had certainly pushed the limits this time and hadn’t given myself the nurturing my body was crying for. Long days behind the computer and on the phone scatter my energies and buzz me out. Not to mention the stress that builds up in my neck and shoulders where I carry all life’s burdens. As I chatted with Tracey, she had a calming effect on me. I became aware of my mind releasing the frenetic world I’d left outside and the calmness pervading my being. She asked me to choose a colour to work with and I chose the magenta pink colour, which is one of my favourites, and coincidentally which was the colour of her shawl and the blanket on the massage table. The other was the orange oil, which brings in courage and alignment into your body and also deals with past trauma and shock. (Phew I needed that one!) Tracey then intuited which type of massage would be most appropriate for me at the time and she decided the Antaneea Absolute Bliss massage would be the one. (More info) When I was ready, she started working on my feet and I instantly felt a pain on the left side of my left foot just above the instep. This, Tracey explained, works with the feminine side of the body and this particular part of the foot is the solar plexus – dealing also with bringing joy into your life. Hmmm! My poor tired body was carrying more tension than I imagined and there was also loads of tension behind my calves. Tracey used long, fluid, liquid strokes, which although did not carry deep pressure, were infused with energy that penetrated all parts of my body. I felt my muscles relax as she continued to work up my body and back with the same fluid flowing strokes. When she got to the area at the top and between my shoulder blades (the biggest block in my body) I felt a searing pain shoot into the back of my head and while she worked the area, I felt nauseous. "No pain. No gain." I thought to myself breathing deeply in and out to match her movement, determined that that block should be released. Yes, sometimes release can be painful. I felt the energies in my body eratically scatter in all directions from that point between my shoulders and surge in circles internally. An intense heat rushed through me and the room, and I felt as though I was suddenly surrounded by many beings of light and angels. Many of those were my dearly loved and departed, including my Dad, grandparents, Tracey-Leigh and just recently-departed, George-Gabriel, who clearly said something to me which I have noted. I felt the love surround me, the emotions rise within me and cried bitter sweet tears for those I still missed in my life, yet knowing that they were blissfully happy and surrounded by angels. Tracey then started working on my head and the pain and tension slowly dissipated. Just when I thought the massage was over, she once again started working on my feet and repeated the process working up to my head - not once, but twice! I truly enjoyed this and the second and third time around, I didn’t experience any pain nor discomfort, just a smoothing out of my energies. By the time she finished, it felt as though all the channels and meridians throughout my body were flowing smoothly and evenly. My head felt calm and clear and I definitely felt lighter. It took a while before I felt like moving and I simply lay and reveled in the tranquility and renewal I had experienced. My body was deeply relaxed and yet I felt mentally energized and inspired. Tracey stressed that I should drink loads of water and be gentle with myself. Her intention for my healing was totally fulfilled. The next day I felt a little emotional and quiet and realised I was processing the huge release of the profound healing. I took it slow and easy, not allowing all the deadlines and ‘have-to-do’s’ to interfere nor get the better of me. I allowed myself to flow. I don’t really know exactly what happened during the Antaneea Massage, but I do know there was a deep shift that elevated me to a higher level of being. I can’t quite explain it, but I certainly feel like a new me and since then feel more accepting of the challenges that arise. I am also feeling more joyful. Thank you Tracey for the gift of sharing your wonderful healing energy. I truly recommend this dynamic massage as it works on all levels and brings about a renewal of mind, body and soul. Measurable and memorable! (I can’t wait to try the other Antaneea massages on offer.) |

>Testimonial from The Blessed Baronness – 17 July 2012 Melinda, over at Diaries of A White Mother, organised for all the finalists from the Kidz World Mom Blogger Competition to have a treatment of their choice with Tracey from Complete Hair and you must surely know how I almost pee’d my pants with excitement. I love pampering, I look forward to my monthly visits and the hairdresser and beauty salon, but I rarely have the time to go for a massage and that is my ultimate indulgence. I checked out Tracey’s website and couldn’t wait to call her to book my appointment! There were so many interesting choices to choose from but in the end, I was totally intrigued by the description of an Anataneea/Colour Therapy Treatment, which was described as: The ultimate indulgence. This gentle, loving and nurturing massage pampers the body and acknowledges the soul. The back of the body is massaged 3 times using 12 coloured oils, sound vibrations and energy healing: you are left feeling safe and supported on all levels. It unlocks your hidden potential by releasing the memory of stored trauma from the cells. An absolute must if you ready to transform your life. I had my treatment last week and it was absolutely heavenly! Bearing in mind that I had not shared anything with Tracey about who I was, while working on me, she picked up trauma surrounding an inability to bare a child and when she massaged my neck and throat regions, her hands and the oils became boiling hot and she said I have a tendency to be very verbal or over share… The Blessed Barrenness maybe??? At the end of the treatment, she asked me to choose and oil to take home with me by simply viewing the colors and choosing the one which spoke most to me. I was surprised when the color I was most drawn to was red and not the pink or purple as those are my favorite colors. You can read more about what the red symbolizes here. But it was pretty much spot on for me and I’ve been using it daily ever since. Needless to say, I literally felt like I was floating after my massage! I had a sensation almost like being disconnected somehow, I was THAT relaxed! As a trained therapist myself, the biggest bonus was seeing how passionate Tracey is about what she does. Booking a treatment with her is not like going to a salon where you get some tired, under paid therapist who just goes through the motions, ensuring they rub you from top to bottom in oils without really caring about your well being. I will definitely be visiting Tracey again for another massage, it was simply heavenly and now you can also experience her healing hands giving you a massage. Melinda has 5 vouchers to give away for treatments with Tracey, valued at R500 each! All you need to is like her Diaries Of A White Mother Face Book page to be entered into the draw. If you’re not lucky enough to win, you can book an appointment with Tracey on (011) 447 4847 and don’t worry if the Antaneea massage doesn’t appeal to you, Tracey offers a long list of different massages for you to choose from! And it's called Pure Hair. Owned and run by the very talented Michael, it's a one stop beauty shop. And tucked away, in a little corner in the salon, is a little room where magic happens. Tracey Dirsuwei is a wellness therapist, has been practising and perfecting her treatments for the last ten years. Her approach is to bring the body back into balance by healing with holistic therapy. Recently Tracey treated a few of the Kidzworld Mommy Blogger finalists to a R500 session and the feedback has been amazing. One mommy blogger, stressed and bogged down with the usual day to day irritations said she felt like she was floating on air after her treatment So I figured I needed to spread the love and Tracey is offering 5 readers a voucher valued at R500. Sadly it's for JHB moms only.. . |
